Over 24 lakh students appeared for the exam on May 5, 2024, but soon after, reports and social media posts began circulating, alleging that the exam paper had been leaked. This has led to widespread unrest among candidates and demands for a re-exam. Several public interest litigations (PILs) have been filed, seeking investigations into the alleged paper leak. One such PIL in the Patna High Court demands a CBI investigation into the matter.
